Every horse is unique — which means there’s no single “one-size-fits-all” approach to feeding.

This course empowers you with the knowledge and confidence to understand the principles of equine nutrition and how they directly influence health, behaviour, performance, and recovery.

Rather than relying solely on external nutrition advisors or sales representatives, you’ll gain the insight to become your horse’s own nutrition advocate, making informed choices tailored to your horse’s individual needs.

This CPD training is designed for:

  • Horse owners who want to deepen their understanding of how nutrition affects wellbeing, performance, and recovery.
  • Holistic equine practitioners seeking to integrate nutritional awareness into their practice and offer enhanced support to clients.

You’ll learn how to take control of your horse’s wellbeing from the inside out, providing the best foundation for vitality, soundness, and long-term performance.

The course includes practical tools — such as a step-by-step checklist — to guide decision-making when diet-related issues are suspected.

We’ll also cut through the confusion of marketing claims by debunking common myths and presenting clear, scientifically backed information on equine nutrition.
